Mogens Otto Nielsen (1945) er en af landets væsentligste konceptkunstnere, der altid har lagt stor vægt på det foranderlige og processen, uanset om det er isskulpturer, mail-art, meditationer med stok eller bøger fyldt med billeder. Til KN1-15 har Mogens Otto Nielsen skabt installationen ”Meditation for myrer”, der er et rum fyldt med myrer og som giver plads til kontemplation og fordybelse. Derudover har han sluppet hundredevis af myrer løs på 28 store plakatstandere i Aalborg.

Mogens Otto Nielsen har modtaget den prestigefyldte Eckersberg Medalje og Nordjyskes Kulturpris. Bor og arbejder i "Atmosphere Controlled" i Nordjylland.

For KN1-15, Mogens Otto Nielsen has created the installation "Meditation for ants", a space filled with ants, which allows for contemplation and immersion. In addition, he has released hundreds of ants on 28 major poster stands in Aalborg.

Mogens Otto Nielsen has received the prestigious Eckersberg Medal and Nordjyske Culture Prize. Lives and works in "Atmosphere Controlled" in northern Jutland.
